West Liberty-Salem’s boys golf team defeated Greenon 171-174 in an Ohio Heritage Conference matchup Wednesday, Aug. 14
The 171 was a season low so far for the Tigers. WL-S is now 3-2 on the season.
Greyson Horsley led the Tigers with a 40. Luke Thomas and Sutton Wilcoxon both shot 43, Owen Barger had 45, Collin Thompson had 47 and Aiden Taylor shot 60.
The Tigers travel to Locust Hills on Monday to play Madison Plains.
WL-S girls top Greenon
West Liberty-Salem’s girls golf team picked up its first Ohio Heritage Conference win of the season Wednesday by defeating Greenon 216-229 at Rocky Lakes.
Olivia Reichardt, Geneva Estep and Kennedy Wallace led the way for the Tigers.
Individual scores were not reported.
In other recent action, the Tigers lost to Northeastern 216-229 and fell to Fairbanks 212- 250. WL-S is now 1-2 in OHC play and the Tigers will host Madison Plains on Monday at Liberty Hills.
