William “Bill” C. Dohse, 77, of DeGraff, passed away at 3:20 p.m. on Monday, July 31, 2023, at Logan Acres Care Center in Bellefontaine, Ohio. He was born on January 11, 1946, in Springhills, Ohio, a son of the late James Karl Marquis Dohse and Leyla Faye (Donald) Dohse.

Bill is survived by his son, Michael (Melessa) Casey; two grandchildren, Zachariah Casey, and Abigail Casey; two sisters, Debra (Wanda) Carter, and Juli Dohse; a brother, Tom (Kim) Dohse; and many nieces and nephews, including Chastidy Luellen; and Jim Bowling. In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Bowling, and Doris Staley; and a brother, Karl “Mac” Dohse.

Bill was a retired military veteran, serving in the U.S. Army from 1963 to 1966 and in the U.S. Air Force from 1967 to 1985.

Pastor Bryan Meadows will officiate a graveside service at 11 a.m. Monday, August 14, in Springhills Cemetery with military rites performed by the Logan County Veteran Honor Guard.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Logan County Veteran Honor Guard at American Legion Post 731, 120 Colton Avenue, Bellefontaine, Ohio 43311.
