Calvary Christian School (CCS) seventh- and eighth-graders entertained their audience Friday, Nov. 22, with “The Dummest Play Ever,” a series of silly vignettes along the lines of a sketch comedy show. Pictured, students take part in the “Warm Up and What’s That Line” skit. From left are Lilliana Phillips, Josh Hunt, Hudson Adelsberger and Mayumi Soma. The 10 skits featured 48 roles for the 41 actors, plus the rest of the junior high participated backstage and with technical help, which gave all 70 students in both grades a chance to be involved. CCS language arts teacher Jennifer Wylie directed the performance, which she chose because it used the most amount of people with the least amount of props. (SUSIE JARVIS PHOTO)
