West Liberty-Salem took on Emmanuel Christian in nonleague bowling Tuesday.
The Tigers girls won 2,296 to 1,878.
Alyssa Mueller had the high series of 380 (190-190), followed by Elli Ullery at 354 (201-153). Next was Kathy Roehm with 346 (196-150), then Lilly Gearheart at 319 (186-133) and Jenny Reprogle at 281 (119-162).
Emmanuel Christian won the boys match, 2,603 to 2,499.
Devon Jones had the high series of 365 (178-187), followed by Carson Kerns at 354 (183-171), Evan Borgerding with 340 (186-154), Zander Gluckle at 324 (196-128) and Luke Thomas with 317 (164-153).
The boys next face Bethel on Feb. 4, while both teams take on Southeastern on Feb. 6.

Pirates fall to Kenton
Riverside lost to Kenton in boys bowling Monday, 2,292 to 2,707.
Kaitlyn Jackson had a 196 game and Aidden Manning 181 game for the Pirates.

WL-S competes in tourney
The West Liberty-Salem boys wrestlers took part in the Thunderbird Invitational at Lima Central Catholic this past weekend. They placed 17 out of 36 teams.
Getting wins for the Tigers were:
106 – Wyatt Shoemaker, 3-2, two pins, 6th
113 – Zayden Shafer, 2-2, two pins
120 – Madden Kilgore 2-2, pin and MD
126 – Lucas Merriman, 4-2, three pins and tech fall, 7th
132 – Lance Saylor, 1-2, tech fall
138 – Kyler Langhardt, 2-2, two pins
165 – Silas Krabill, 3-2, two pins, 5th
Derek Wall (144), Robert Park (157), Tim Krabill (175), Sam Bradford (190) and Maverick Reames (215) also competed.
West Liberty-Salem faces Northeastern for a dual match this evening.
