The Village of West Liberty hosts a spring cleaning day for village residents from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, July 6, at Lions Park.
This is an opportunity to declutter your home and dispose of unwanted items in an environmentally-friendly manner.
The service is offered exclusively to West Liberty residents. Take a valid ID to verify.
Allowed items for disposal include: non-freon containing applications, furniture, household junk, renovation debris (no commercial contractor debris, leftover shingles (small quantities), paint cans if open and paint is completely dry.
Prohibited items include: propane/oxygen tanks (closed pressurized vessels), tires, freon-containing appliances, batteries, brush/trees, fuels/combustables, household garbage/food waste, recyclable or compostable items.
