The Washington Township Police Department would like to invite area residents to participate in the department’s five-week Citizens Academy.
The academy will take place Tuesday Jan. 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30, 2024, from 5 to 9 p.m. each day at the Washington Township Police Department.
During the academy, attendees will hear from officers, prosecutors and judges.
Attendees will learn the inner workings of the Washington Township Police Department and the criminal justice system as a whole.
Sign ups are limited to the first 15 registrants.
