A man who is a suspect in a stabbing incident that occurred Nov. 29 in the Mount Adams area of Cincinnati was apprehended by Logan County law enforcement in Lakeview Saturday evening, Dec. 7.
Michael Bowlin, 28, of Berea, Kentucky, was being sought by Cincinnati police in connection with a stabbing that left a construction worker critically injured, according to various news outlets. The worker was stabbed multiple times during an apparent unprovoked attack at a home construction site in the 300 block of Baum Street in Mount Adams. He was taken to University of Cincinnati Medical Center.
Bowlin was arrested in Madison County, Kentucky, the day after the stabbing on an unrelated charge of criminal trespassing. Police there were unaware of Bowlin’s suspected involvement in the stabbing and he was released from jail Dec. 3.
The vehicle Bowlin was traveling in, reportedly with others, was pursued by Logan County enforcement and ended up in the area of Main and Harrison streets in Lakeview.
The suspect was taken into custody around 6 p.m. and transported to the Logan County Jail.
No injuries have been reported related to Bowlin’s arrest in Logan County.

A wanted Cincinnati man is in custody Saturday evening after a chaotic few hours for several law enforcement agencies that helped apprehend him in Lakeview.
Authorities got a “ping” on the suspect’s cellphone in the Indian Lake area Saturday afternoon, preliminary reports indicate.
The suspect, who authorities believed was armed and dangerous, was reportedly traveling with several others in a Honda Accord with a tinted license plate, according to emergency scanner traffic.
Law enforcement pursued the suspect vehicle for a time.
A large contingent of law enforcement converged in the area of Main and Harrison streets in Lakeview around 4:30 p.m. in the area where the vehicle was stopped.
Other people traveling in the vehicle with the suspect were detained for a time, while authorities determined the identity of the suspect.
Indian Joint firefighters reportedly helped law enforcement get an individual off the roof of a home in the area where the Honda was stopped. It is unclear if the individual was the suspect or someone else.
No injuries have been reported in the developing situation.
Deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office, Washington Township and Russells Point Police, special response teams, an air unit, troopers of the Ohio State Highway Patrol and others assisted in the man’s capture.
The suspect was taken into custody around 6 p.m. and transported to the Logan County Jail.
