Wanda loved spending time with her family. Being a homemaker, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother were the most important priorities in her life. As her kids fondly told her, she was, “The BEST Mom in the Whole, Wide World!”  She did everything out of love for her family and others. If you were Wanda’s friend, you were her friend for life and it was important to her to stay in contact.

Wanda enjoyed cooking, baking, traveling with her family, gardening, sewing, American history, playing games (word, trivia and cards) along with emailing and texting on her cell phone & iPad, riding in airplanes, animals, playing the cello in high school, listening to music, playing the piano (self-taught), as well as enjoying playing on the girls basketball team at North Lewisburg HS. She also loved attending her children’s activities and events; as well as watching Ohio State Buckeye football games!

Wanda was a member of the East Liberty UMC, American Legion Women’s Auxiliary, Order of the Pythian Sisters, Logan Hills Booster Club, Perry Zane Community Civic Club, Logan County Board of Elections and she was a volunteer Airplane Spotter for America’s Civil Defense after WWII and during the Cold War.
