Those who plan to exercise their right to vote in the May 6 Primary/Special Election must be registered to vote at least 30 days before the election.
The deadline to register with the Logan County Board of Elections is Monday, April 7.
In addition, anyone who has moved since they last voted and has not done a change of address with the Board of Elections should do so by the same deadline.
Regular business hours for the Logan County Board of Elections, 225 S. Main St., Bellefontaine, are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
April 7, special voter registration hours are available from 8:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Online voter registration is available at www.myohiovote.com.
Registrations are also accepted by the following authorized agencies during their regular business hours: Knowlton Library, Logan County District Libraries, Bureau of Motor Vehicles, Department of Job and Family Services, Logan County Women, Infants, & Children Clinic, Logan & Champaign Counties Mental Health, Drug, and Alcohol Services, Logan County Board of Developmental Disabilities, Logan County Treasurer and the Ohio Secretary of State.
Qualifications to vote in the May 6 Primary/Special Election are: Must be a U.S. citizen; must be a resident of Ohio for 30 days before the election; must register to vote 30 days before the election; and must turn 18 years old on or before May 6, 2025, or Nov. 4, 2025 to participate in the First Ward Republican Primary.
