Citizens Federal Savings and Loan has announced the addition of Ben Vollrath to its Board of Directors.
Vollrath said he is excited to be part of an organization with a strong community focus. “I love that I will be part of a bank that is all about finding ways to improve the community,” he said. “Citizens has always been quick to support, sponsor, spotlight, and be involved with the good in our community.”
A graduate of Capital University, Vollrath holds degrees in business economics and communications, as well as a master of business administration. His professional background includes experience in banking and economic development.
Vollrath currently serves as president of the Logan County Chamber of Commerce and is a board member for the Mid-Ohio Development Exchange, Clark State College, Mary Rutan Health, and the Logan-Union-Champaign Regional Planning Commission.
Officials said Vollrath’s strategic planning experience, commitment to service, and understanding of community needs make him a strong addition as the institution looks ahead.
Citizens Federal leaders welcomed Vollrath to the board, noting the bank will continue its long-standing mission of meeting local financial needs in meaningful ways.
