Virgil Merlin Good, 85, of Longmont, Colo., passed away Friday, June 9, 2023.

He was born June 2, 1938, in Bellefontaine, a son of Clarence and Effie (Miller) Good. He was a minister for awhile, and then started working at the parochial school near and in Bellefontaine. He also performed the same work in Nebraska and Colorado.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Shirley Mortimore and Lucy Good.

As he worked in his field, he was supported by his wife, Joanie, who survives. He also leaves behind his nephew, Ken Bennett and his three sons, Keith and his fiancé Paula Evans, Kevin and his wife Sarah and their two sons, Kaleb and Sam; and Ken’s third son, Greg; Virgil’s brother-in-law Art Mortimore.
