Victoria Maria Grant, 66, of DeGraff passed away peacefully Thursday, May 25, 2023 at Springfield Regional Medical Center surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with cancer.

Vicky was born July 16, 1956 in San Francisco, CA to the Vincent and Virginia Lee (Davis) Mifsud. After the untimely passing of her father Vincent at six months of age she was raised by her loving father and mother Robert L. and Virginia (Davis) Reisinger. On July 27, 1974 in Russells Point she married the love of her life Michael L. Grant, who survives.

After many years of dedication to her work she finally retired from Custom Staffing. Vicky’s main job in life was being a loving matriarch to her family. She enjoyed fishing, having picnics and spending time with her grandkids, going to their many events brought her great joy in life. Vicky loved to bake and cook; making large meals for her family, friends and guests was not uncommon. Not only her cooking and baking, but her bright smile and laughter will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege to get to know her.

Vicky is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Mike L. Grant; daughter, Mary (James) Jenkins of Springfield; son, Josh (Andrea) Grant of Bellefontaine; grandchildren, Virginia (Daniel) Jenkins, Victoria (Hayden) Hayes, Tessa (Kaleb) McCaw, Brianna Kindle, Jesse Jenkins and Adelia Grant; brother, Martino (Shirley) Mifsud of Bellefontaine, Kimberly (Melvin) Lovelace of West Liberty; loved by many nieces and nephews; her beloved “fur babies,” Dolly, Max and Dudley.

Vicky is preceded in death by her parents and a special niece, Gina Gilbert.

Rev. Vickie Yoder will officiate a Funeral Service Thursday, June 1, at noon at Jennings Farley & Seeley Funeral Home & Crematory, 5591 US Highway 68 S., West Liberty.

Visitation will be Wednesday, May 31, at the funeral home from 2 to 6 p.m. and again on Thursday from 11 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will take place at Greenwood Union Cemetery in DeGraff.

The family kindly requests that guests wear bright colors to Vicky’s services in remembrance of her.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to His Hands Extended Sanctuary, 1560 Dialton Rd, St. Paris, OH 43072.
