• Benjamin Logan High School Veterans breakfast — Friday, Nov. 10; BLHS Student Government invites all local veterans to be honored; breakfast begins at 8 a.m. in the high school commons, followed by ceremony at 9 a.m.; the featured speakers for the event include MSG Joshua L. • Indian Lake High School Veterans Day activities — Friday, Nov. 10; Indian Lake area veterans and their guests are invited to a day of celebration and recognition at Indian Lake High School starting at 12:30 p.m.; veterans are recognized with light refreshments, followed by an assembly honoring those who served and are currently serving; make reservations with your name, branch of service and guests who will be attending, no later than Nov. 5, call the school at (937) 686-8851 ext. 4215 with your information.
• Bellefontaine City Schools’ Veterans Day Field of Honor — Display will be at Blue Jacket Park from Nov. 10-13.
• Logan County Veterans Day observation — 11:11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 11, Logan County honor guard performs at the flag pole at the Logan County Courthouse, program then moves inside to the Holland Theatre, American Legion Post 173 commander will speak, along with Mayor Ben Stahler and guest speaker U.S. Navy Corpsman Chris Huffman; following the program, a Veterans Appreciation dinner takes place at the American Legion, 120 Colton Ave.
• Riverside Veterans Day breakfast, assembly — Monday, Nov. 13; breakfast will start at 8:30 a.m., and then the assembly will follow around 9 a.m.; visitors are asked to park in the staff parking lot, come through the doors by the high school gym.
