A vehicle struck a gas meter Thursday afternoon, Nov. 14, along Brennan Road and caused a gas leak resulting in the road being closed for a time.
No injuries were reported in the single-vehicle crash which occurred about 2:30 p.m.
City police blocked off Brennan between Ludlow Road and Township Road 179, while Bellefontaine firefighters cleared the scene and Centerpoint personnel worked to repair the leak.
As of 4:30 p.m. Thursday, the road remained closed.
