The United Way of Logan County has opened its 2025 funding application window for local organizations serving Logan County residents.
Agencies wishing to be a United Way Funded Agency and receive funding next year are invited to submit their online application by the Friday, Oct. 4, deadline.
The United Way awarded $647,366 to 21 local agencies via the similar process a year ago.
Programs selected to receive funding will further United Way’s mission to support the health, education, and financial stability of every person in Logan County. Funding priority will be given to programs that align with the Community Needs Assessment.
Areas of emphasis include programs that:
• Address mental health.
• Reduce the negative impact of substance abuse in Logan County.
• Provide long-term, coordinated help for people with rent, utilities and affordable housing.
• Strengthen and stabilize the local workforce.
• Promote healthy living.
• Reduce poverty and increase self-sufficiency and financial wellness.
• Enhance educational opportunities.
• Keep children safe and healthy.
• Serve the aging population.
• Provide access to health care.

In addition to this annual funding window, United Way also awards one-time grants for emerging opportunities and emergency needs via its Community Impact Fund.
