Amidst a critical need for Type O blood, the United Way of Logan County hosts a community blood drive Friday, Feb. 17, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Union Station, 613 Hamilton St., Bellefontaine.
Everyone who registers to donate will receive the special edition “Give Blood” long-sleeve, hoodie T-shirt. Make an appointment online at www.DonorTime.com, call (937) 461-3220, or use the new Donor Time app.
The United Way is partnering with the Community Blood Center to host six drives this year. Blood collected will service hospitals in a 15-county region, including Mary Rutan Hospital.
