Tri-M Music Honor Society members inducted

The Tri-M Music Honor Society inducted new members at Benjamin Logan High School during a recent ceremony. New members are: Eric Hughes, Lorali Klopfenstein, Savannah Pugh, Landon Stoodt, Rylie Thomas, Ethan VanWinkle and Greyson Wagoner. The Tri-M’s continuing members were also present at the induction are Tyler Barnes, Izik Cox, Kelley Forsythe, Kate Hahn, Jacey Koehler, Isabella Lowe, Hannah Phillips, Claire Rhodes, Lily Rudolph, Britny Sliker, Sadie Staats, Harry Stratton, Dylan Vance, Katherine Vickroy and Mason Welty. A student is nominated after completing three semesters of music courses, competing in solo and ensemble contests, and has a 4.0 GPA in music/3.0 GPA academically. Band director Myles Bowers expressed his gratitude for his students and their musical achievements. “These students have made music a guiding influence in their educational endeavors,” he said. A new slate of Tri-M officers recently elected by peer vote was announced: Katherine Vickroy, president; Hannah Phillips, vice president; Kelley Forsythe, secretary; and Kate Hahn, historian.
