Three suspects were jailed shortly after 5 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 26, following a trespass complaint investigated by officers of the Bellefontaine Police Department.
Dallas McKinley, 48, and Virgil Hinkle, 60, both of Bellefontaine, were lodged on outstanding warrants, and Kyle Brazier, 32, of Bellefontaine, was charged with disorderly conduct.
Officers were dispatched to 312 N. Detroit St. on a report of a tenant wanting other unwanted guests removed from his residence. Upon arrival, officers immediately identified McKinley and Hinkle and were aware of outstanding arrest warrants for failure to appear. The warrants were confirmed and the suspects were taken into custody.
Contact also was made with Brazier, another of the unwanted guests at the residence. He was visibly intoxicated and unable to clearly communicate with officers. He could not tell police where he lived, nor could he identify anyone to pick him up.
For his own safety, Brazier was charged with disorderly conduct and also taken into custody.
All three suspects were lodged in the Logan County Jail.
