Trann Kristine Porter passed away peacefully at Memorial Hospital of Marysville Ohio on June 18 2024 with her family by her side. She fought a long hard battle with the evil cancer. 

She was born in Bellefontaine Ohio on March 2 1966 to Jack and Kay Taylor Bellefontaine Ohio.

Trann was a manager of Adecco in South Carolina Honda Site.

Trann graduated from Benjamin Logan High School, Zanesfield Ohio in 1984 and earned an Associate’s Degree in IT and Human Resources from Clark State. 

Trann had a great love for animals and worked at the Logan County Humane Society her Junior and Senior years of high school. She brought home with her the dogs who were unwanted and nurtured them back to health and found forever homes for them.

In her youth Trann was an exceptional softball player and loved spending time at Uncle Jim and the late Aunt Mary Dearwester’s house. Trann will be remembered as the cool aunt by her nephews and nieces who loved hanging out with her. She had a special bond with her niece Kassidi Sullivan and her nephew Aidan Sullivan.

Trann was proud of her two children and she was their best friend. Her kids and grandkids were the joy of her life. She actively participated in her grandkids activities. Her grandkids looked forward to spending time with their fun Memaw who spoiled them every chance she got.

Trann shared a special friendship with Connie Reames and Karen Parmer for many years. Having fun and making great memories.

Trann was preceded in death by her father Jack Taylor, brother, Tracy Taylor. And nephew, Chad Taylor.

She is survived by her mother Kay Taylor of Bellefontaine Ohio, her sister Tisha Sullivan (Jon) of Bellefontaine Ohio and sister-in-law Lisa Taylor of Florida.

Her son Stefan Porter Bellefontaine Ohio, daughter Paige Porter (Daniel) of Piqua Ohio her grandchildren, Lyrik, Layla, Lennox, Roman, Amiah, Ollie, Ryan and Brysen. Nephew Jason Taylor (Amy), James Newman, Andrew Newman and great nieces/nephews Abigail, Jazzlyn, Christopher, Nicole, Jayden, Sara and Melanie. She was loved & cherished by all of her family & will be greatly missed.

A Memorial Visitation will take place Wednesday, June 26, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Jennings Farley & Seeley Funeral Home & Crematory. A private family burial of ashes will take place in Highland Memorial Cemetery at a later date.
