Joshua Muse, 42 of Bainbridge, was charge with possession of methamphetamine related to a traffic stop about 6:10 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 26.
Officers of the Washington Township Police Department were on patrol on US Route 33 near Township 239 and conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle occupied by Muse for an equipment violation.
Upon making contact with the occupants, signs of drug use were observed. The driver consented to a search of the vehicle. During the search, a brown bag belonging to the defendant was located. Inside of the bag, methamphetamine was located.
Muse was taken into custody and transported to the Logan County Jail.
