West Liberty-Salem sophomore forward Taran Logwood received the top boys basketball award for the Ohio Heritage Conference North division this season.
Logwood, who averaged 13.4 points and 11 rebounds per game, was named the OHC North player of the year.
He was joined on the OHC North first team by teammate Matt Jones, a senior guard.
Triad junior Kane Bailey also earned a spot on the North first team.
The Cardinals’ Tyler Perry was a second-team pick, while West Liberty-Salem’s Brevin Louden was an honorable mention selection.
Joining Jones, Logwood and Bailey on the North first team were Fairbanks’ Andrew Crowe and Holtz Maine.
Along with Perry, the second team consisted of West Jefferson’s Austin Buescher, Northeastern’s Jonathan Guevara and Travis Tuttle and Fairbanks’ Braydon Wiedman.
Filling out the North honorable mention list were Mechanicsburg’s Brennin Eyink and Mason Hess, West Jefferson’s Jake Fitzpatrick, Fairbanks’ Ryker Green and A.J. Landon and Northeastern’s Jye Lockwood.
For the South division, the player of the year award went to Springfield Catholic Central’s Tyler Galluch.
Galluch was joined on the South first team by Madison Plains’ Cameron Dennehy, Greeneview’s Jordan Erisman and Carter Williams and Cedarville’s Drew Koning.
The second team included Greeneview’s Ethen Caudill, Cedarville’s Brayden Criswell and Tyler Cross, Catholic Central’s Cole Ray and Southeastern’s Ayden Robinson.
Filling out the South honorable mention list were Cedarville’s Jack Czerniak, Greenon’s Dylan Pacura, Catholic Central’s Ian Roediger, Madison Plains’ Blayne Williams, Greeneview’s Myles Witt and Southeastern’s Brennan Workman.
