West Liberty-Salem’s boys basketball team earned a 64-61 victory over visiting Indian Lake in a non-league game Saturday night.
The Tigers are now 7-4 on the season.
Indian Lake, which was coming off a dramatic triple-overtime win over Urbana on Friday, falls to 5-5.
The Lakers took the momentum early as they led 21-15 after the first period.
Indian Lake held a five-point cushion (34-29) at halftime and the Lakers were in front by six (50-44) after three quarters.
WL-S battled back in the final stanza, outscoring the Lakers 20-11 to pull out the victory.
Sophomore Taran Logwood powered the Tigers with a game-high 28 points. Matthew Jones contributed 17 points and Miles Hostetler had eight points.
Caiden Nicol led the Lakers with 24 points. Lane Tucci had 18 points and Camdon Tuttle scored 16.
In the junior varsity game, WL-S won 51-38. Jackson Steider led the Tigers with 16 points and J.J. Johnson had 14 points.
Cooper Hall led Indian Lake’s JV team with 13 points.
Both teams are back in action Tuesday night. The Tigers travel to Southeastern and Indian Lake hosts Kenton Ridge.
