Theodore “Ted” W. Fischer, aged 82, went to be with His Lord on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, in Knoxville, TN. A native son in OH, born in 1942 to Theodore C. Fischer and Angeline Fouquette.

Theodore was predeceased by his parents, his wife Leslie J. Fischer, daughter Holly C. Fischer, and sisters, Jeanne L. Meyer and Evelyn Palmer. He is survived by his wife Trish Wagner Klingensmith, son Theodore S. Fischer and wife Emily B. Fischer, stepsons Douglas C. Klingensmith and wife Tiffany L. Klingensmith, Daniel C. Klingensmith, Keith R. Klingensmith, and sister Mary Fischer Conley. Theodore’s charm and wit will be sorely missed by all.

Theodore graduated Indian Lake Highschool and subsequently the University of Dayton, OH with an MSEE in 1969. He was a registered professional engineer in the states of Ohio, Massachusetts, North Carolina, and Tennessee. Theodore’s career in the electronics manufacturing industry culminated to the position of President & CEO of Becromal of America, Inc and subsequent retirement in Knoxville, TN.

Family, friends, and others are invited to the funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Monday, October 14, at Holy Angels Catholic Church, 1322 Brown Street, Dayton OH 45409. A visitation will be held from 10:30 to 11 a.m. at the church prior to Mass. Internment will be at Calvary Cemetery immediately following the ceremony.

Donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or charity of your choice.
