Theodore “Ted” Crew Ferguson, 87 of Lakeview went to be with the Lord Monday, July 31, 2023 at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima, OH.

Ted was born April 15, 1936 in Ridgeway, OH to the late Cornelous Crew and Ethyl (Longshore) Ferguson. On July 16, 1955 in Rushsylvania he married the love of his life Rosalie J. Beck, who preceded him in death.

Ted worked at Knowlton Farms for 23 years, whom he showed cattle for, nationwide. He also worked at Pleasant Cemetery for 20 plus years. Ted enjoyed fishing, arrowhead hunting, biking and traveling. He also enjoyed attending all of his grandchildren’s events and spending time with his loving family; especially his grandchildren. Ted will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to get to know him.

He is survived by his children, Debra (Monty) Forsythe, Douglas Ferguson and Gregory Ferguson; grandchildren, Jeremy Snipes, Erin Hunt, Melissa Hunsberger, Ann Ross, Jennifer Joseph, Megan Ferguson, Lacey Hefner, Nick Ferguson; 17 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; brothers Don and Fred Ferguson; many nieces and nephews; dear friend and companion, Norma Keeran.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 49 years, Rosalie J. Ferguson; son, Scott Ferguson; great granddaughter, Rylee Hefner; siblings, Gail, Crystal, Hazel, Mary, Harry, Willis, Franklin, Robert, Blanch and Dwight.

A private family burial will take place in Huntsville Cemetery at a later date.
