Terry W. Tracey, 66, of Lakeview, OH passed away Wednesday morning, May 1, 2024, at his home.
Terry was born on June 2, 1957, in Lakeview, a son of the late Jack L. and Rose Marie Carey Tracey. He was also preceded in death by a son, Travis Tracey, a sister, Debbie Thaman, three brothers, Bill, Jimmy, and Jack, and a nephew, Tony R. Tracey.
Terry is survived by three children, William Jack (Glenda) Tracey of VanCleave, MS, Michelle (Andy) Grube of Belle Center, OH, and Nicole Allen of Kenton, OH, 12 grandchildren, Richard Tracey, Ethan Tracey, Hayley Tracey, Korrine Tracey, Taylor Tracey, Addi Tracey, Carter Grube, Bentley Grube, Azlynn Grube, William Grube, Trevor Drummond, and Evelyn Allen, sister, Cathy Ackley of Springfield, OH, special friends, Steve and Joyce Kimbler, and several nieces and nephews.
Terry was a 1976 graduate of Indian Lake High School. He was a roofer by trade but a “Jack of All Trades”, never fearful of tackling any project or task. He loved working on houses, his dogs, and hanging out with his buddies. Terry had an ornery nature about him but always looked to help anyone he saw in need.
A gathering of family and friends to celebrate Terry’s life will be Saturday, May 11, 2024, from 2-4 pm at Shoffstall Funeral Home, 205 S. Main St, Lakeview.
