Terry Lee Heath passed away at home surrounded by his family on Monday August 21, 2023. He was born, January 25, 1947, in Bellefontaine Ohio to Hershal Duane and Pearl Louise Bailey Heath. Along with his parents he was proceeded in death by his brothers Bruce (Diane) Heath and Kit Heath.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Karen Burke Heath; daughter Teresa Heath Butler; son Duane (Gwen) Heath; four grandchildren, Laura (Logen) Lytle, Nathan Guthrie, Jaxon (Courtnie Smith) Heath, and Alaina Heath, great-granddaughter, Rexlee Heath; sister-in-law, Karol (Bob) Cummings, Jeff (Monica) Webb, Blythe, Eve, and Molly (Mark) Amidon, and sister-in-law Barb Heath; five nieces; aunt Ladonna Heath; and many cousins.

Terry attended Riverside High School until 1964 and was a U.S. Army Veteran serving from 1966-1968 in the 93rd Construction Engineering Corp in Vietnam.

He worked many years, construction for his dad and uncles, running bulldozer and heavy equipment until 1972. Terry also worked 37 years at LeRoi Dresser Division in Sidney where he built and tested large air compressors before retiring in 2009.

Terry was a life member of Quincy VFW Post 3528 and loved to ride his motorcycle, escorting the Logan County Veterans to DC trips and Vietnam wall to area cities.

He always loved fishing and hunting with his family and his close friends. He also loved camping and fishing with family in the summer at Indian Lake, Flip Flop Cove and visiting with his many friends there.

Terry was a very loving and caring family man and will be sadly and greatly missed by his family and friends.

A visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, August 26, at the Cornerstone Fellowship of DeGraff, 1839 County Road 24 S. in DeGraff, where pastors Michael Mitchell and Matthew Wright will officiate a memorial service at 1 p.m. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Quincy, Ohio with military rites performed by the Logan County Veteran Honor Guard.
