Madisyn C. Pitts, 17, of Lakeview, was transported by Indian Lake EMS to Lima Memorial Hospital for treatment of suspected minor injuries sustained in a crash early Sunday morning, Feb. 4.
Deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office report she was operating a 2009 Buick LaCrosse just after midnight in the 11000 block of County Road 17 when she went off the left side of the road, striking a utility pole. The vehicle continued off the road, overturning and coming to rest on its top.
Damage was heavy to the car, which was towed from the scene. Madisyn was cited for failure to control, and according to the crash report, she was not wearing a seat belt.
