Evelyn Allen, 16, of Zanesfield, was cited for failure to yield the right of way at an intersection following a two-vehicle crash that occurred shortly after 8:15 p.m., Monday, July 15, at the intersection of Allison Road and east Brown Avenue.
Officers of the Bellefontaine Police Department report Allen was eastbound on Brown Avenue at the intersection of Allison Road when she failed to yield to a vehicle driven by Daniel Fuhrman, 76, of Bellefontaine. Fuhrman reportedly was northbound on Allison Road at the intersection of east Brown Avenue when the teenage motorist failed to yield and pulled into his path.
Impact from the crash caused the vehicle Allen was driving to come to rest on its side.
Bellefontaine EMS responded to the scene, but no one was transported. Possible minor injuries were reported.
Both vehicles sustained disabling damage and were towed from the scene.
