Academic success led to sweet treats for hundreds of Bellefontaine High School students during the annual Sweet Rewards program in the main gym.
The Bellefontaine High School Academic Boosters Club recognized freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors for earning a 3.0 grade point average or higher in the first semester.
Approximately 400 students were honored with sweet rewards, including donuts, cookies, milk and water.
BHS students then played The Price is Right in their quest to take home prizes.
Several community members and businesses donated items.
BHS Principal Cliff Core emceed Sweet Rewards. He praised the students for their commitment to academic excellence.
Four moms from the Academic Boosters Club served as the chairpersons of the event.
The spring awards ceremony is set for May 2 in the high school auditorium.
