Tyler Rall, 29, of Kenton, was arrested Sunday, Jan. 26, after officers of the Bellefontaine Police Department found him in a hotel with two underage girls.

Rall, 29, was charged with two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor early Sunday morning after he was found to be providing alcohol to two underage girls at the Comfort Inn on Northview Drive.

He was charged after a concerned mother reported that her 16-year-old daughter and a friend were drinking with Rall in a hotel room.

Police report the incident began around 11 p.m. on Saturday when the mother arrived at the hotel and saw her daughter and her daughter’s friend with Rall in the lobby. After contacting the police, officers investigated the situation and found alcoholic beverages in Rall’s hotel room.

During the investigation, Rall claimed he believed both girls were 18 years old. However, police discovered text messages indicating that the 16-year-old girl had informed Rall she was underage before he invited her out for dinner and drinks.

One of the girls was taken into custody for a probation violation resulting from her involvement in the incident. Both girls were charged with underage alcohol consumption.

Rall lodged in the Logan County Jail.
