Educational leaders from multiple school districts, including Benjamin Logan Local Schools, Bellefontaine City Schools, Indian Lake Local Schools, and the Midwest Regional Educational Service Center, announce the upcoming Summer Enrichment Academy (SEA) 2025.

The event will take place June 9-13, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., at Bellefontaine High School, and is dedicated to providing enriching educational experiences that promote the academic and creative growth of students entering grades 2-8 in the Logan County area.

This year’s SEA is packed with engaging courses that promise to stimulate both the mind and the creativity of students. Among the offerings are courses like “Platform 9 3/4: A Harry Potter Adventure” and the innovative “Vex Robotics Challenge,” designed to ignite students’ imaginations and foster a love of learning through hands-on activities and explorative challenges.

The registration deadline is Friday, April 11. Individuals can register by scanning the QR Code in the brochure or by visiting SEACAMP Registration.

Enrollment is on a first-come, first-served basis, ensuring every student has an opportunity to engage in their preferred courses. Space is limited, and classes will be closed to registration once full.

There is a $70 fee (non-refundable), with a subsidized rate of $25 for students on the Free and Reduced Lunch Program

“SEA provides a fun and exciting way for students from grades 2 through 8 to dive into new learning adventures that spark creativity and grow their knowledge in cool and interactive ways,” said Sally Stolly, coordinator for Benjamin Logan Schools. “We look forward to welcoming new and returning students to another stimulating summer at SEA.”

“Our goal is to nurture both the academic and creative potential of each student, helping them discover new interests and abilities in a fun and supportive setting,” said Angie Horvath of Bellefontaine City Schools.  “SEA is excited to offer a diverse selection of over 25 unique classes, spanning categories from the arts and sciences to practical skills and outdoor adventures.

“This variety ensures that every student can find something to spark their interest and passion.”
