Indian Lake Schools Superintendent Rob Underwood, right, chats with local resident John Keating during the St. Patrick’s Day Community Leader and Senior Appreciation Breakfast Friday, March 17, at Indian Lake High School. The ILHS Food Service staff dished out sausage and biscuits and delicious casseroles, while members of the Key Club served up coffee and tea. Diners were able to visit with students, school administrators and each other, surrounded by St. Patrick’s Day decor. After the meal, the group moved from the cafeteria to the ILHS Auditorium, where Dr. Underwood gave brief remarks about recent events and upcoming projects. Members of the Laker Leadership Council offered their new R-Factor presentation that they plan to roll out at local government meetings this spring. The Meistersingers Show Choir performed as the finale of the event. The St. Patrick’s Day gathering was the only community breakfast planned for the 2022-23 school year. The school district will host another breakfast next fall. (Indian Lake Schools Photo)
