Calvary Christian lost to Waynesfield-Goshen 42-40 in boys basketball play on Monday.
Philip Davie led the Spartans with 16 points and seven rebounds. Zeeke Wylie had 12 points, along with five rebounds and three assists. Christian Rogan had six points and three assists.. Evan Schmidt had four points and Luke Garner two.
Calvary Christian will face Urbana tonight and Spencerville on Friday to complete their regular season. Both games are on the road.
BOWLING
Chiefs boys fourth at CBC
The Bellefontaine boys bowlers were fourth among Kenton Trail Division teams at the league tournament Friday They had 3,775 pins.
Kenton Ridge took first place with 4,239.
For the Chieftains, Alex Williams had the high series of 603 (187-235-181). He was followed by Rory Pierce at 558 (239-160-159), then Paul LaFollette with 443 (206-237); Jacob Lynch 355 (201-154); Colton Wisner 342 (164-178); Alex Moon 335 (163-172) and Eli Stone with a 173 game.
In the five Baker games, they had scores of 191, 201, 213, 190 and 171 for a total of 966.
GIRLS WRESTLING
Tigers compete at Triad invite
West Liberty-Salem competed in an invitational hosted by Triad on Sunday.
At 110 pounds, Chloe Griffith finished second. She was 2-1 with a pin.
At 115, Jenna Cline took sixth. She had a 2-3 record with two pins.
Shelby Vincent wrestled twice at 125 pounds.
The Tigers will be at the Ohio Heritage Conference meet Saturday in Mechanicsburg.

Raiders 8th grade boys win
The Benjamin Logan eighth grade boys basketball team defeated Tecumseh 30-27 in the second round of the CBC tournament on Monday.
Karon McCoy had nine points, Micah Gregg eight points and six rebounds, Gabe Predmore five points, four rebounds and four assists, and Carrick Spriggs five points and five rebounds. Also contributing were Ashe Moorehouse, Colton Little and Brantley Karn.
The Raiders will play at Johnathan Alder on Thursday at 5:30 p.m.
WL-S sixth grade girls split
West Liberty-Salem’s sixth grade girls basketball lost to Bellefontaine 22-19. Zoey Richardson had seven points, Chloe Staten six, Izzy Jones two and Kennedy Logwood two.
Against Southeastern, the Tigers won 17-7. Jones had six points, Richardson and Logwood four each, Quinn Moore two and Staten one. Defense was provided by Ava Prater, Iris Meister and Mariah Fish.
Tigers 5th grade boys split
The West Liberty-Salem fifth grade boys basketball lost to Bellefontaine 31-25. Braxton Louden had 15 points, and Isaac Falloon 10.
They also defeated Southeastern 29-13. Louden had 15 points, Falloon 10 and Parker Knight four.
