KENTON — Dustin “Dusty” Ray Bolen, 42, was arrested on indictment Thursday, Nov. 7, by Hardin County Sheriff’s deputies in connection to the investigation of his missing father.
Dustin’s father, Michael “Mike” Bolen, 66, of McGuffey, had been reported missing and was last heard from March 29.
Dustin Bolen has been charged with murder, tampering with evidence, gross abuse of a corpse, having weapons under disability, trafficking in fentanyl, theft from a person in a protected class, and possession of criminal tools, according to a release from the sheriff’s office.
He was lodged at the Multi-County Correctional Facility and is awaiting arraignment.
Dustin lived with his father and other siblings at 304 Hunsicker St., McGuffey, the Kenton Times reports.
The Times reported an April 6 search effort involving about 60 people to find Mike Bolen was unsuccessful.
The sheriff’s media release stated no other information will be released at this time in the on-going investigation.
