Participants contemplate various questions Friday, July 14, at the Livestock and Horse Skill-A-Thon at the Logan County Fair. The test asks for different species, meat cuts, parts, leg structure, and breeds of the animals for the competition. Logan County OSU Extension Office summer intern Shelbie Snoke assisted with the contest and a variety of activities at the fair. “It’s been the most rewarding experience I’ve ever had,” she said. “Overall, the summer has been rewarding seeing members go through and see their projects and hard work put into it.” (EXAMINER PHOTO | LUCY JARVIS)
