BellefontainePolice Patch-200Sisters Kallie Beech, 24, and Kathryn Parker, 34, both of Bellefontaine, were each charged with domestic violence following an altercation that was reported around 12:03 a.m., Friday, Feb. 3, at 413 N. Elm St.

Officers of the Bellefontaine Police Department report that an argument between the women turned physical and that Beech and reportedly bitten Parker and pushed her into a door frame. Beech told officers she had contacted police because Parker had left the residence, was planning on going to the hospital and had indicated she was going to contact police.

Beech stated that during the altercation, Parker had pulled her hair and bent her fingers backwards. While speaking with Beech, Parker reportedly called on the telephone. Officers were told that Parker did not want to pursue charges against her sister, at which point police left the scene because the women were separated and did not live in the same home.

Later on, however, Beech contacted police again and said she wanted to pursue charges against Parker. Officers reviewed Parker’s injuries at the hospital and ultimately determined both were mutually aggressive and issued each a summons for domestic violence.
