Three siblings swept the youth categories during the fine arts judging at the Logan County Fair on Monday, July 8. Each took home both Best of Show and Reserve Best of Show in their age divisions. They were, front row, from left: Paul Lewis (age 16 – 18), Grace Lewis (age 9 – 12) and Scott Lewis (age 13 – 15).Winners of the adult divisions stand behind them. They are, from left: Jean Frick (amateur Reserve Best of Show), Darcy DeLeon (professional Best of Show), Debbie Shellhaas (amateur Reserve) and Carolyn Lashuay (amateur Best of Show). DeLeon, who serves as president of the Logan County Art League, was excited to see the number of entries they received double what came in for 2023. “I really encourage artists all over Logan County to watch for opportunities to be involved next year,” she said.
