Shirley A. Darcy, 76, of Lakeview, OH passed away Thursday, December 7, 2023, at St. Rita’s Medical Center, Lima, OH.
Shirley was born on January 29, 1947, in Moran, MI, a daughter of the late Harold and Elma Fraley Hinkson. She first married Gerald Dean Neeley in 1962, and then married Francis Darcy in 1993, both preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by two sons, Jeff Neeley and Scott Neeley, and a brother, David Shotts.
Shirley is survived by two daughters, Bobbie Jo Neeley-Anderson, and Rose Ann Neeley, both of Lakeview, a son, Tommy Lee Neeley of Lewistown, OH, twelve grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, two sisters, her twin, Sharon Kay Oates of Lakeview, and Marilyn Sue Plikerd of Belle Center, OH, and several nieces and nephews.
Shirley attended Indian Lake Schools. She worked for many years at the Tilton Hilton and was a member of Kenton FOE Aeries #2163. Shirley enjoyed reading and loved being with her family and helping others.
Funeral services will be 7 p.m, Tuesday, December 12, at Shoffstall Funeral Home, 205 S. Main St., Lakeview, with visitation from 5 to 7 p.m. Inurnment will be at a later date in Huntsville Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be given in Shirley’s memory to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
