The following defendants were sentenced recently in Logan County Common Pleas Court:
Branden Williams, 31, of Chillicothe, has been sentenced to six months in prison for theft, with his sentence to run concurrently with cases in Highland, Greene, and Ross counties. Williams, an out-of-county defendant, was credited with 60 days of jail time and ordered to pay $4,261.86 in restitution, along with court costs.
Known for a series of thefts, Williams was also arrested at a Lowe’s in Miamisburg in January, where he fought officers and was tased before being taken into custody. One Miamisburg officer suffered minor injuries during the altercation.
In that incident, Miamisburg police had been made aware of Williams for the ongoing alleged thefts and were waiting to arrest him in the hardware store.
- Shannon Kuhn, 50, of Bellefontaine, was sentenced to three years of community control for misuse of credit cards and aggravated possession of drugs. Kuhn was also ordered to pay restitution of $492.32 and court costs.
- Rebecca Watson, 54, of Lakeview, received three years of community control for aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony. Watson was credited with 39 days of jail time and ordered to pay court costs.
- Jimmie Miranda, 39, of Indiana, was sentenced to three years of community control for aggravated possession of drugs, a third-degree felony.
