Sandra L. Glassford, 81, of Dunnellon, Florida, passed away Wednesday, December 14, 2022, at the HPH Hospice House, Lecanto, Florida after her battle with cancer. Her daughter Beckey was by her side.

She was born August 19, 1941 in Lewistown, Ohio, the daughter of Don and Mildred Fullerton. 

She married Gene Glassford on April 6, 1963. Gene preceded her in death on February 15, 2019.

Sandra is survived by two children Rebecca (Beckey) Glassford of Bell, Florida, and Douglas Glassford of Taylorsville, NC. She has four surviving siblings Byron Fullerton of Belle Center, Ohio; Kenneth (Nancy) Fullerton of Dunnellon, Florida; Susan Faulder of St. Johns, Ohio; and Pat Myers of Lecanto, Florida. 

Her sister Margaret (Peg) Kantner preceded her in death February 2021.

Sandra has many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and a very special aunt Jean Fullerton that brightened her life.

Sandra graduated in 1959 from Washington Local School in Lewistown. She was a 25 year employee of the Sprint Telephone Company, where she then retired from. Sandra loved spending time with family and hosting many family gatherings.

Many of her interest that she loved were fishing, boating, traveling, tending her flower gardens and watching any birds that would visit her feeders, plus the pair of Sand Hill Cranes that came to visit daily.

Sandra and Gene were both very involved in the Mid-Florida Antique Machinery Club over several years and enjoyed the many friends and memories that they had made with club. She will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.

The family will hold a small service later this year in Ohio.
