Ruth Lorelei “Lori” Adelsberger, 70, of Rogersville, TN, passed away peacefully on December 24, 2023, at the home of her daughter, in Bellefontaine, Ohio.

She was born on March 1, 1953, in Bellefontaine, Ohio, the daughter of the late Charles A. Bray and Dottie J. (Cobb) Bray. She was also preceded in death by a grandson, Titus Warne.

She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Joseph A. Adelsberger. She is also survived by children; Sheryn (Barry) Warne, Jeremy (Jessica) Titus, Emily (Joseph) Walls, and stepchildren; Joshua (Krista) Adelsberger, and Jenny (Eric) West. Oma adored her grandchildren; Brock, Trevor, Erica, Olivia, Evelyn, Autumn, Annabella, and Noah (Katelyn), Luke (Lauren), Hannah (Barnabas), Christian (MacKayla), Anne, Allexxie, Simon, as well as her great-grandchild Ella, three brothers; Harry (Jayme) Bray, John (Cherie) Bray, and William Bray; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Lori was a 1971 graduate of Benjamin Logan High School. One of Lori’s greatest pleasures was spending time with her family. Family gatherings were always filled with laughter and warmth as they enjoyed each other’s company, for the most part.

Lori had a fulfilling and successful career as an administrative professional. Over the span of several years, she worked at various places including TRC in East Liberty for 20 years, Darby Development Company in Charleston, South Carolina, and for Bailey Real Estate Company in Kingsport, TN. Her dedication and commitment made her an integral part of each organization she served. Lori took great joy in her hobbies and interests. She had a passion for reading and could always be found lost in the pages of a book. She appreciated the classics, especially black and white movies, and had a soft spot for musicals. Lori also had a profound love for history and was known as a true history buff. Lori enjoyed and was fortunate enough to travel and was a “foodie” before that was a recognizable thing. Lori was never without ChapStick, and always had warm slippers and her robe nearby.

Lori was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star for 50 years. She greatly valued the friendships she formed within the organization, and her dedication to its principles was unwavering. Lori had many lifelong friends that she loved fiercely.

Visitation will be Friday, December 29 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 321 N Main Street in Bellefontaine, Ohio.Eastern Star services will follow at calling hours beginning at 7:15 p.m. Funeral Service will be conducted on Saturday, December 30,, at 11 a.m. at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center. Burial will follow in East Liberty Cemetery.
