Roger D. Tevis, 69, of West Mansfield, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 13, 2025 at his residence.
A graduate of North Union High School, he retired from Nature Pure where he had worked for several years. He enjoyed playing cards and especially his regular visits to the grocery store for his lottery tickets.
Born September 28, 1955 in Kenton, he was the son of the late Russell D. Tevis and Mary Roberta (Ledrick) Hemblen. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brothers-in-law, Jim Gruett and Dan Miller; and a niece, Carrie Miller.
Roger is survived by his brothers and sisters, Junior (Mary Alice) Tevis of West Mansfield, Sharon Gruett of Marysville, Rick (Jane) Tevis of West Mansfield, Sandy Miller of Bellefontaine and Terry Tevis of Bellefontaine; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Services to celebrate Roger’s life will be held at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, January 23, 2025 at the Wilson Funeral Home, Schnurrenberger Chapel 222 W. Center St. West Mansfield. Pastor David Moore will officiate and burial will follow at the Raymond Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Thursday beginning at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home.
