Robert W. Stanley, Jr. ‘Bob’

62

Robert W. Stanley, Jr. “Bob” entered into his new Heavenly home into the arms of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday evening December 15, 2024.

Bob was born on March 19, 1947, in Springfield, Ohio to the late Robert W. and Nellie Stanley. When he was a baby, the family moved to West Mansfield, Ohio. Bob graduated from Logan Hills in the Class of 1965.

Bob is survived by his wife, Kathy of 47 years. He also survived by his daughter Deanna Stanley and granddaughter Allayna (Dennis) Sidders and great-granddaughter Emily; son Barry Stanley and granddaughters Dana (Nate) Schneider, Melodee (Shane) Satterfield and Jessica Stanley; sisters: Patricia Hudson and Deb (Norby) Karava; brothers-in-law: Steve (Linda) Smith and Tim Smith.

Bob’s prayer is that you would come to know Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior as he did in 1980. Romans 10:9 says, “that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him (Jesus) from the dead, you will be saved.”  Bob was always saying “I’m just a sinner saved by grace”. Romans 3:23 says, “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God”.

The funeral will be held on Friday, January 17, 2025, at 11am at Union Chapel Community Church, 9490 Co. Rd. 41(on the corner of State Route 287 and Co. Rd. 41), West Liberty. Pastor Jeremy Sarver will give the message. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers a donation can be made to the Union Chapel Building Fund.
