Robert L. “Bob” Stewart, 81, of Tipp City, passed away Wednesday, April 26, 2023, in Hospice of Miami County, Troy, Ohio.
He was born in Logan County, Ohio on April 2, 1942, the son of the late Charles William and Maxine Frances (Kirkwood) Stewart. He was also preceded in death by his aunt and uncle, Junior and Pat Stewart and cousins, Ron and Patty Stewart, and his dog, Casey Lane.
He is survived by a sister, Sharon Stewart of West Liberty, Ohio, and cousins: Scott (Nancy) Stewart, Kim (Duane) Meek, Mark (Nancy) Stewart, Angela (Jason) Smith, and J.R. (Bryn) Stewart.
Bob was a 1960 graduate of West Liberty High School and went on to graduate from Wright State University with a bachelor’s degree. He worked as an engineer for Chrysler Auto Plant in Dayton, Ohio until his retirement. He loved classic cars and enjoyed meticulously working on and restoring vehicles.
Pastor Bryan Meadows will officiate a graveside service at 11 a.m. on Monday, May 1, in the gazebo at Highland Memorial Cemetery, West Liberty.
