Robert F. Stierhoff, 65, of Rushsylvania, passed away Monday, January 8, 2024, in his residence.

He was born on November 11, 1958, in Delaware, Ohio, the son of the late Edward Martin and Mary Elizabeth (Fitzgerald) Stierhoff.

On July 15, 1984, he married the former Kathy L. Mitchell, and she survives in Rushsylvania.

He is also survived by a daughter, Sara Stierhoff of Rushsylvania, two sons; Chase (Chelsea) Stierhoff of Ridgeway and Nate (Keisha) Stierhoff of Marysville, four grandchildren; Christopher, Caroline, Neva, Mack, and another grandchild expected in June of 2024, a sister, Carolyn Rapp of North Carolina, a brother, Jerry Stierhoff of Dublin and his father and mother-in-law, Dan & JoAnn Mitchell of Rushsylvania, and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Barbara Abrams, Susan Adams, and a brother, Jim Stierhoff.

Bob was a 1977 graduate of Benjamin Logan High School where he excelled in sports. He worked 37+ years at AGC in Bellefontaine, retiring in 2023. He was inducted into the Benjamin Logan Athletic Hall of Fame, where he coached baseball and football. He also helped coach the Logan County Braves Special Olympics and the Rushsylvania Summer Boosters league. He was a member of the Rushsylvania United Methodist Church and was an avid deer and turkey hunter.

There will be visitation on Sunday, January 14, from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Rushsylvania Church of Christ, 170 Mill St E, Rushsylvania, OH 43347. There will be a celebration of life service conducted in the Spring of 2024. Inurnment will be in Rushsylvania Cemetery at a later date.

The family kindly requests those attending to dress casually in some of his favorites, camouflage, Benjamin Logan Raider or Tampa Bay Buccaneers clothing.
