It was another memorable day Tuesday for the Riverside boys bowling program.
The Pirates captured the Division II district championship at Beaver-Vu Lanes in Beavercreek to earn a berth in the state tournament.
The top four teams advanced to the state tourney, which is March 4 at Wayne Webb Bowl in Columbus.
There were three regular games and six baker games. Riverside posted a score of 2,854 in the regular games and added a baker total of 1,176 to tally a winning total of 4,030.
Graham was second with 3,956, Versailles finished third with 3,892 and Clinton Massie was fourth with 3,874.
Benjamin Logan and Indian Lake also competed in the 24-team field. The Raiders were eighth with 3,778 and the Lakers finished 17th with 3,416.
Sam King led the Pirates on Tuesday with a 621 series to place fifth on the all-tournament team.
For the Raiders, Gage Hamm posted games of 161, 203 and 224 for a 558 series, Nate Davis had games of 203, 167 and 181 for a 551 series and Jarrett Buckenroth had games of 201, 254 and 177 for a 532 series. London Stoodt had a 211 game, Caleb Knight rolled a 194 game and Max Mannings added a 185 game.
