Risa Ann Kuba, 62, of St. Marys, OH, passed away Friday, March 7, 2025, at St. Rita’s Medical Center, Lima, OH.
Risa was born on August 28, 1962, in Bellefontaine, OH, a daughter of the late Earnest Kuba, and Evelyn (Shields) Kuba, who survives in West Liberty, OH. She is preceded in death by a brother, Keith Kuba, and two infant siblings, Mark and Carolyn.
Risa is survived by her mother, her sister, Tammy (Ed) Prall of Pickerelltown, OH, several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles, including those who closely supported her through her life, Earnie Kuba, Rick Kuba, and Sherri Hodies, and her Yorkie furbaby, Bailey.
Risa was a 1981 graduate of Lima Senior High School and attended Lima Technical College studying architecture. She started her working career as a transportation escort for her father, then as a truck driver, working for Brookside Trucking Company in Lima, and retired from Omni Manufacturing in St. Marys in 2024 after 20 plus years.
She was a member of Easy Rider Harley-Davidson Club in Lima, and Ben Breece Harley-Davidson Club in Ottawa, OH. Riding her motorcycle was her passion, making several long-distance rides, including trips to Las Vegas, Key West, Sturgis, and through Dragon’s Tail. She also enjoyed poker runs to raise money for many causes, and toy runs for Toys for Tots.
Reverend Karen Blackburn will begin funeral services at 2 p.m. Friday, March 14, at Shoffstall Funeral Home, 205 S. Main St, Lakeview, with visitation from noon to 2 p.m. Burial will follow in Walnut Hill Cemetery, New Hampshire, OH.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given in Risa’s memory to a Humane Society or Animal Shelter of the donor’s choice.
