Randy Curtis Miller

2919

Randy Curtis Miller, 49, of Springfield, OH, passed away unexpectedly on October 3, 2024, while doing what he loved.

He was born on December 28, 1974, to Edward and Debra (Dillon) Miller. Randy lived a life full of hard work, love, and dedication to his family and friends.

Randy graduated from Triad High School in 1993. From the time he could lift a hay bale, he spent his early years working on local farms. He later moved on to work at the Foundry in St. Paris before starting a long career in assembly at Honda in Marysville in 2001, where he worked for the past 23 years.

Randy had a love for motorcycles, sharing many rides with his son, Dylan, by his side. He was a true handyman, always tinkering on cars and taking on various projects around the house. His passion for music led him to the guitar, where he was teaching himself to play. A jokester by nature, Randy always found the light in any situation, keeping those around him smiling and laughing.

He was selfless, always putting the needs of others before his own, and there wasn’t anything he wouldn’t do for the people he loved. Randy was an avid football fan, cheering on the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cincinnati Bengals. He also enjoyed listening to Cincinnati Reds games on the radio, a pastime that brought him comfort.

Above all, Randy’s greatest joy came from being with his family. He was happiest when all his children were together, surrounding him with love and laughter.

He is survived by his mother, Debra (Okey) Dillon; daughters Cassie and Adrianna Miller; Son, Dylan Miller; 4 grandchildren; brother, Steven Miller; Sister, Sue Hypes; grandmother, Dorothy Daniels; mother of his children, Vannessa Dyer, as well as several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father; Uncle Herb Miller; aunt, Becky Daniels; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins and grandparents.

Private funeral services will be held at the family’s convenience.
