The Benjamin Logan boys soccer team edged Kenton Ridge at home in a Central Buckeye Conference match on Wednesday evening. Aiden Todd had both of the goals for the Raiders. They were set up Gaven Jordan and Landen Simon.

The goals for Todd gave him 30 for the season, with 58 goals and 145 points for his career, all of which are records.

Coach Jamie Hughes said, “First of all that was a great win tonight against a very good Kenton Ridge squad. They are very dangerous and that’s no doubt our biggest win of the season. But what a night for Aidan Todd. We thought this was a record he might be able to get coming into the season but he had to stay healthy and he had to have the teammates around him to put him in the positions to score. I’m very proud of his accomplishments and I couldn’t be happier for him. He’s such a great kid and leader on this team, he’s always smiling and working hard, and I’m thankful to not only have his dad on the sideline helping us coach, but also to be able to be a part of his success.”

The previous record holders were Bryan Roth for season goals (27 in 2004) and George Kern (2018) for career goals (56) and points (125).

Ben Logan improves to 5-1-1 in the CBC and 9-3-1 overall. They will host Urbana on Monday at 5:30 p.m.
