Benjamin Logan closed out the regular season Friday night with a narrow Senior Night victory over Bellefontaine at TP Lanes, edging the Chieftains 2,505–2,462 in a Central Buckeye Conference boys bowling matchup.
With the win, the Raiders finished the regular season 9–8 in the CBC and 11–8 overall, while the Chieftains were 11-7 in the CBC and overall.
Senior leadership powered Benjamin Logan’s varsity effort, led by Wyatt LeVan, who rolled games of 209 and 191 for a 400 series. Fellow senior Paxton Henry followed closely with games of 196 and 203 for a 399 series.
Conner Chambers contributed a strong 380 series with games of 159 and 221, while Pierce Jenkins delivered consistent games of 186 and 186 for a 372 series. Colton Klopfenstein added games of 119 and 135 for a 254 series.
In the four Baker games, the Raiders claimed three of four from the Chiefs to secure the team victory.
The Benjamin Logan junior varsity squad wrapped up its season in impressive fashion, defeating Bellefontaine 2,391–2,122 to finish with a 13–4 record.
Freshman Kaden Stevens led the JV Raiders with a personal-best 405 series, rolling games of 203 and 202 to reach his season-long goal of a 400 series. Taydin Miller added a personal-best 233 game and a 158 for a 391 series, while Carson Miller recorded personal-best games of 165 and 192 for a 357 series. Brycen Chrencik posted a personal-best 186 game and finished with a 318 series, and Joe Meeker added a 317 series with games of 139 and 178. In Baker play, the Raiders went 2-1-1.

Despite the narrow loss, Bellefontaine celebrated Senior Night by honoring six seniors before competition, recognizing both their athletic contributions and their future plans.
Alex Williams, a four-year bowler and son of Jason and Angie Williams, plans to join the United States Air Force after graduation.
David Allen, a four-year bowler and son of Brooke George, hopes to continue his education in welding.
Colton Wisner, a four-year bowler and son of Lane and Kylie Wisner, plans to enter the United States Air Force before pursuing a career in law enforcement.
Paul “Van” LaFollette, a three-year bowler and son of Devon and Anna LaFollette, will complete his firefighter and EMT certification.
Eli Stone, a four-year bowler and son of Jake and Emily Stone, plans to serve in the United States Air Force while also exploring an interest in screenplay writing.
Timothy Phillips, a four-year bowler and son of Bryan and Amanda Phillips, hopes to become a professional chef.
“These boys are an awesome group of young men,” said Bellefontaine varsity coach Dave Overholser said.
On the lanes, LaFollette led the Chiefs with games of 231 and 162 for a 393 series. Alex Moon followed with games of 200 and 179 for a 379 series, and Colton Wisner added a 190 game. Bellefontaine battled through challenging Baker games but continued to compete.
“I was very proud of their composure and willingness to compete,” Overholser said.
Bellefontaine’s JV squad, while falling to the Raiders, continued to show progress throughout the season. Timothy Phillips rolled games of 150 and 200 for a 350 series, while Eli Stone added games of 173 and 171 for a 344 series. Elijah Shurelds and Parker Hubbard each contributed games of 158.
“I’ve really enjoyed coaching these boys and look forward to next year,” JV coach Tammy Overholser said. “We hope to see them continue bowling in summer and fall leagues at TP Lanes.”
Both programs also expressed appreciation to Chris Thompson and the TP Lanes staff for their continued support of high school bowling.
